Travelling to Patna ft. Rangriti
Office, blog and other commitments, kind of made me crazy this week! I could hardly get any time to spend with myself. And even if it was crazy, everything that happened was really good and I captured some amazing memories.
One out of the lot was travelling to Patna. It’s like travelling for work for the very first time and I couldn’t be more excited. So, if you guys know about Rangriti, they recently opened their store in Patna and they invited me to visit their store and check out their new collection. It was really sweet of them and I had the best time ever – something different apart from what we do in metropolitan cities.
Our day started with an early morning flight and we reached Patna by 9am, had breakfast at a local patna restaurant and ate Aloo paranthas, imarti and a glass of lemon soda. We reached the Rangriti store at around 11am and we spent the whole day there. I started with something I like the most, I shopped my favourite outfit and wore it then and there. It was a beautiful blue kurta which I wore it as a dress, I layered it up with a koti jacket with some black heels.
Upnext, I checked their new collection which is divided in 4 sections –
Indie tops – they are short and long kurtis which can be worn as dresses or with shorts or even jeans. They are evergreen!
Layers: this one is very interesting! They are basically designed in a way where you can transform your look from simple to party by wearing the kurta as a dress or wearing the entire set for a party.
Slim pants: Now this one has to be my favourite! I wear all sorts of pants and when slim indian pants come in the picture, it can be worn in so many ways! From a crop top to a kurta, it complements all sorts.
Summershine: They have a wide range of summer Kurtis which is perfect for this humid weather – soft and light!
I honestly feel the concept of mix and match is taking over this year. Just when the girls feel like getting their Indian element on, they can always think about mix and match! It’s an evergreen trend and none of us can get over this. Who agrees with me?
That was it for the collection, next I met a bunch of you at the store. It was so nice styling everyone and talking about what they wear and the trends coming in. Had some paparazzi moment when the reporters and media came to take our interview. We had an awesome buffet and flew back to Delhi in the evening.
The day was super productive and that was it for today’s post. Sharing a few pictures as well which are raw and I wanted to keep the post natural.
